Sefa asks Leilani on a date – but will her strict Mormon mother let her go? As the girls stroll home from Sefa’s dairy, they spy the Flaw Rubberz rehearsing for the Bop Champs and Lupe gets disheartened. These guys have really got the goods - how can the Duckrockers even compete? She’s been working on some moves that she hopes will burn the Rubberz, but when she busts them out at Leilani’s house, cousin Tony sees much more than he should, and a mortified Lupe admits she needs support. Leilani breaks her mission fund to buy Lupe a bra, but when a shop assistant accuses them of stealing, the girls are faced with police intervention – and the fury of Leilani’s formidable mum.
