When Stan lures the boys to a girls school for “an exciting surprise” Sefa thinks it’s a set-up for him and Leilani, but as the episode unfolds we discover Lupe and Stan have been making plans – Lupe’s keen to upskill the rookie boppers … and Stan wants to ensure she doesn’t leave the crew! The Duckrockers have got a lot to learn, so Lupe shares her knowledge and passion in a breakdancing workshop. But the boys are more interested in what’s for lunch, testing her patience with their immature antics while she waits for life-changing news about her family’s future. The story channels cult 80s classic The Breakfast Club as five teens share deep secrets in a deserted school, but when Sergeant Heremaia drives up in his cop car, the boys start asking awkward questions. Has their new friend Lupe dobbed them in? Are they gonna be busted for the Queen St riot? Do girls’ schools have boys’ toilets? And can Albert hold on till they find them!?
