As Bolo

Bolo, it’s all a bit mysterious and enigmatic and currently a goth. He is a loner, happy to sit at home and read his books, but also one of the boys – well, to the extent of having to keep an eye out for them all the time. He is a thinker, a philosopher and a guy who understands and befriends women.Thus the boys think he must be gay. And maybe he is, even though he isn’t camp or anything. Or maybe not. Or maybe Bolo is just Bolo. About Rocky (20): Hailing from Manurewa, as the eldest of the Duckrockers key youth cast, Rocky was originally hesitant to audition because at the ripe old age of 20 he wondered if he was “too old” to play a teen. Luckily for us his mother encouraged him to throw his hat in the ring. Rocky found himself immersed in school theatre in Year 9 and went on to have a roles in several theatre shows, including one with “the great‘’ Robbie Magasiva called Club Paradiso. The talented actor has also had guest roles in The Panthers and improvised comedy series Educators. Rocky doesn’t consider himself a dancer but dabbled in hip-hop classes in High School.
